Job Description
- Perform the various welding tasks required to repair equipment.
- Fabricate equipment and mechanical components based on drawings, diagrams, or verbal instructions.
- Take precise measurements to meet tolerance requirements.
- Perform various machining tasks.
- Weld and braze materials required for individual projects.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Weld components using welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
- Repair broken or cracked parts.
- Assemble manufactured parts into complete equipment: operate and test the equipment to ensure it functions properly.
- Perform conventional alignment on machinery.
- Complete reports.
- Keep the work environment clean and safe.
- Demonstrate initiative
- Perform all other related tasks as requested by the supervisor.
