We are seeking experienced Ironworkers, including Journeypersons, Welders, and Apprentices, to join teams working on a variety of commercial construction projects in the Edmonton area and outside of the Edmonton are with travel and Sub . These roles involve steel erection, rigging, welding, and ensuring safety compliance while working at heights on medium to large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Erect structural steel, bolting, and impacting at heights up to 80ft.
β’ Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of work.
β’ Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments.
β’ Rig and set steel, work with cranes, and hoisting equipment.
β’ Perform welding and finishing tasks on steel components.
β’ Work safely at heights , following safety regulations.
β’ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
β’ Journeyperson/Apprentice Ironworker certification with a recognized provincial training authority (or equivalent).
- Fall Protection certifications .
β’ 2+ years of experience in steel erection, rigging, or welding.
β’ All position CWB welding certification.
β’ Valid Class 5 driverβs license.
β’ Basic Ironworker/welding tools required.
