Strengthen customer relationships by optimizing conveyor system layouts and processes using Intralox’s cutting-edge equipment and belting solutions. Based in Melbourne supporting ANZ, India and Southeast Asia markets, you’ll have the flexibility of a hybrid in-office schedule and report to the Equipment Application Engineering Manager for the APAC region.ResponsibilitiesTechnical expert for Intralox Equipment and packer to palletizer system solutions:Have an in-depth understanding of Intralox’s technology capabilities and value propositions.Evaluate application feasibility and clarify important specifications.Develop solution layouts and application recommendations.Collaborate and Qualify:Work closely with commercial teams to qualify opportunities and evaluate the value of Intralox Equipment.Present tailored solutions to customers, showcasing the benefits of our offerings.Innovate Equipment Layouts:Let your creativity flow! Create innovative equipment layout concepts that optimize efficiency and performance.Define project scope and estimate costs.Customer-Centric Recommendations:Interpret customer specifications and provide recommendations based on value and performance.Balance technical feasibility with customer needs.Assess and mitigate technical risks in projects:Mitigate risks for the customer and Intralox by evaluating and identifying potential technical risks in projects.Fuel Intralox’s Innovation Engine:Contribute ideas to enhance Intralox technology and explore new applications.Team Collaboration:Collaborate with customers and commercial teams on projects.Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.Work together with the global Equipment Application Engineering team to learn and share.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic or Mechanical engineering.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Technical Skills:Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Exceptional communication and questioning skills to understand customer needs.Analytical problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on mindset.Proven track record of completing and documenting projects in an organized manner.Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team.Willingness to Travel: Approximately 25% travel required for project discovery, qualification, equipment/solution presentations, occasional troubleshooting, and training.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
