Job Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Customer Interaction & Order Taking: Greet customers warmly, present menus, offer recommendations, take accurate food and beverage orders, and answer questions about menu items and specials.
• Service & Delivery: Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring they are presented well.
• Table & Dining Area Maintenance: Prepare tables by setting linens, cutlery, and glasses, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Payment & Billing: Deliver checks, collect payments, and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Coordination & Communication: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and coordinate with other restaurant staff.
• Customer Service & Problem Solving: Address customer complaints and concerns, and anticipate guest needs to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to health department rules and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests.
• Upselling & Recommendations: Suggest additional products and specials to customers to enhance their dining experience and increase sales.
• Table Clearing & Cleaning: Clear dirty dishes and silverware from tables and transport them to the kitchen for cleaning.

GHP & HACCP Certification preferred but not mandatory.
