Job Description
Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented interior wood carpenter for one of our billionaire furniture industry clients in Al Ain, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, fabrication, and installation of high-quality interior woodwork including custom cabinets, doors, and decorative elements. This position requires a strong foundation in carpentry, precision craftsmanship, and a solid understanding of interior design principles to deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing finishes in residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities
• Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and design plans to fabricate and install custom woodwork components.
• Construct, assemble, and install interior cabinets, doors, shelving units, and decorative wood features with precision.
• Perform on-site measurements, adjustments, and installations to ensure perfect fit and alignment.
• Work with a variety of materials including plywood, MDF, solid wood, and veneers applying appropriate finishing techniques.
• Maintain and operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with interior designers and project supervisors to ensure design integrity and compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and building code standards.
• Manage material inventory, minimize waste, and report any supply shortages promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fit, finish, or structural integrity during installation.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 25 years of hands-on experience in interior carpentry with a proven track record in cabinet and door fabrication and installation.
• Demonstrated expertise in woodworking techniques including joinery, sanding, staining, and finishing.
• Proficiency in working with tools such as table saws, routers, planers, and power drills.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles and spatial planning.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 1800 to AED 2500
