Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Build and assemble wooden furniture frames such as sofas, chairs, beds, panels, and custom décor items.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to drawings and specifications.
• Prepare furniture frames for upholstery by installing foam, padding, and support materials.
• Cut, measure, and attach fabric, leather, or other upholstery materials neatly.
• Upholster sofas, chairs, headboards, wall panels, and custom furniture pieces.
• Repair and reupholster existing furniture when required.
• Ensure proper alignment, finishing, and overall quality of furniture pieces.
• Work with design drawings or instructions from the production team.
• Assist with installation and finishing of furniture for events or interior setups.
• Maintain workshop tools and ensure safe working practices.

Requirements
• Minimum 4–6 years experience in carpentry and upholstery.
• Ability to build furniture frames and complete upholstery independently.
• Skilled in using woodworking tools, upholstery staplers, foam cutting tools, and sewing machines.
• Ability to read measurements and basic technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Ability to work under production deadlines.

Preferred Skills
• Experience in custom furniture, event décor fabrication, or interior fit-out.
• Knowledge of different fabrics, foams, and upholstery techniques.
• Ability to handle both carpentry and upholstery tasks from start to finish.
