An Electrical Cum Plumber is a skilled professional who possesses dual expertise in both electrical and plumbing systems. This unique position demands a comprehensive understanding of various electrical and plumbing tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair. The role requires versatility and problem-solving abilities, as you will manage a range of tasks, sometimes simultaneously. Working as an Electrical Cum Plumber, you will ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of electrical and plumbing systems within residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. This role is essential for maintaining operational continuity and preventing costly downtimes or mechanical failures. An Electrical Cum Plumber must also be adept at troubleshooting complex issues, effectively communicating with clients or team members, and adhering to legal standards and safety regulations. This highly responsible position is not only fundamental to the construction and renovation sectors, but it's also vital in everyday maintenance operations.

Responsibilities
• Inspect and diagnose electrical and plumbing issues to determine effective maintenance solutions.
• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, controls, and other electrical components efficiently.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and plumbing problems with minimal supervision by management.
• Provide estimates for labor, material, and overall project costs to clients or management.
• Ensure proper installation of electrical and plumbing systems in accordance with safety codes.
• Use technical manuals and schematics to determine appropriate procedures for installations.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks, water pressure, and other issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for project tracking.
• Coordinate with clients and other team members to plan and execute repair work effectively.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in good working condition for tasks.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members or apprentices when necessary.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in electrical or plumbing preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrician and plumber with solid technical knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations for both trades is essential.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to solve problems effectively and timely.
