What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational and public-facing location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, guests, and local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, classrooms, common areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report security-related issues, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, handling routine questions, documenting incidents, and maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
