As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the minimum wage for welders in Turkey is 29,850 TRY per month as of 1 January 2026. Welders working overtime receive 1.5 times the hourly rate after 45 hours per week. This rate applies uniformly across all provinces without regional variation.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, foreign welders must submit a valid passport, health certificate, and employer-sponsored work permit application via e-Devlet by 31 March 2026. The permit fee is 2,450 TRY for the first year. Applications without a Turkish employer guarantee letter are rejected within 15 days.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, welders require at least a vocational high school diploma in metal works plus 2 years of documented experience as of 2026. Certification from the Vocational Qualifications Authority is mandatory for arc welding roles. Applicants with only 1 year experience must complete a 240-hour approved training program.

All documents require e-signature verification dated no earlier than 2025. Incomplete submissions result in automatic rejection after 10 business days.
