Job Title: Host / Front of House Team Member

Job Description:

As a Host at Synthesis , you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You’ll be responsible for welcoming guests warmly, managing reservations, coordinating table seating, and ensuring smooth communication between the service team and guests.

You will play a key role in maintaining the restaurant’s service flow, assisting with guest inquiries, and supporting the operations team during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage reservations and walk-ins using the restaurant’s reservation system
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus
• Communicate seating preferences and special requests to the service team
• Assist with answering phone calls and responding to booking inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front desk and dining area
• Support servers and managers during service when needed
• Uphold brand standards and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction

Job Requirements:
• Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred (training provided)
• Warm, confident, and well-groomed appearance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
