Job Description
Primary objective:The Security Supervisor ensures all security operations, staff and systems are working effectively for the duration of all shifts. To Provide an efficient operation, timely and accurate management of standard operations, incident management, immediate remedial action and reports that are required daily. The Security Supervisor implements, coordinates and controls activities which provide the variety of security services. The post holder will be responsible for enforcing post instructions and the scope of work for all posts in coordination with shift security staff, effectively managing the day-to-day shift operations of the security function.
Areas of responsibility:Ensures a robust, professional guard force is contracted/employed to provide services such as manned guarding operations at key and pre-determined sites within Misk School, and a patrolling operation is in place 24 x 7 in designated areas. Arranges routine operation of the Security Control and Coordination Centre (SCCC) – provision of appropriately staffed 24 x 7, by trained and qualified operators. Oversees the complete security shift responsibilities on a shift basis and is on call as required. Maintains the personnel standards of all staff, equipment and assets across all shifts. Brief, deploy and set teams and individuals to task. Supervise daily security activities as directed by the Risk and Resilience Manager. Oversees the performance of the Entry Control Points, Emergency Response and Traffic Management, building security officers and other security tasks. Understands the technical security systems installed and reports any deficiencies, damage, faults, occurring on shift. Respond to security incidents and assist in the coordination of follow up activities. Produce incident reports. Liaise with Emergency services. Provide verbal and written briefs and complete reports and registers as appropriate. Monitor and follow safeguarding processes with regards to all activities that relate to their duties. Manages third party security providers and Implements quality management system to maintain the highest levels of quality. Functionally responsible for the management of the Security Emergency Response and Emergency Management process at the operational level, in coordination with the Risk and Resilience Manager. Including training and exercising for all parties concerned, external stakeholders. Comply with all Health & Safety procedures. Maintaining historical records. Undertake additional duties as and when required by the line manager.
Safeguarding:The post holder will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow the school’s safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. They will directly support the designated safeguarding lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at the school.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any Security related field (essential). Leadership and management training.
Experience:+5 years relevant experience. Experience and understanding and implementing policies and procedures. Prior experience gained in a security managed environment. Understanding of HSE requirements. Experience of operating in a key position within the Security structure. Experience to fully comprehend the security operations.

Reasonable working knowledge or the ability to absorb the operation of technical systems. Strong Written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
