Grain Truck Driver

We’re hiring a Grain Truck Driver based out of one of our northern, Iowa locations (about 40 miles north of Des Moines). In this role, you will be transporting grain, feed ingredients, and dry fertilizer to and from Key Cooperative’s locations, processors and other Key Cooperative customers.

• Ability to work overtime and some weekends.

• Ability to always project a positive attitude to customers and employees while exhibiting good customer relations skills.
What You Will Be Doing
• Completing all assigned tasks according to their daily work schedule.
• Notifying the transportation manager of any loading and delivery problems or delays over 1 hour.
• Displaying reliable attendance and scheduling time-off with minimum advance notice of 1 day.
• Operating equipment in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to the rules and laws established by local, state, and federal agencies.
• Continuously following the safety guidelines and safety programs established by Key Cooperative.
• Ensuring all loads are properly secured and appropriate compliant paperwork.
• Reporting near misses and safety observations using safety software.
