Job Description
Execute various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal components in accordance with project specifications and technical drawings.Carry out inspection of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS) and project requirements.Safely operate and maintain welding tools and equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality for welding tasks.Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and blueprints to accurately execute welding projects.Work closely with other disciplines, supervisors, and engineers to ensure seamless operation and coordination on-site.Adherence and follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Identify and report any issues or discrepancies with materials, drawings, or welding processes, providing solutions to enhance workflow.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time sheets, inspection reports, and material usage logs.
