Job Description
Responsibilities
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication on offshore structures, pipelines, and equipment.
• Execute welding tasks using SMAW, GTAW, MIG, and flux-core processes as per project requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Conduct pre-weld inspections and prepare surfaces for welding.
• Perform post-weld inspections, including NDT (visual, radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle).
• Collaborate with rigging, mechanical, and inspection teams during offshore operations.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in compliance with offshore standards.

Requirements

Qualifications
• Diploma/Certificate in Welding Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of offshore welding experience in oil & gas, shipyard, or marine environments.
• Certified in 6G pipe welding and structural welding (AWS, ASME, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with offshore codes and standards (API, ISO, ASME).
• Offshore survival certification (BOSIET/FOET).
• H2S awareness and offshore medical fitness certification.
