As per the Ministry of Labour, the minimum wage for plumbers in Qatar is 1,000 QAR per month basic salary plus 300 QAR food allowance and 500 QAR accommodation allowance as of January 2026. Overtime must be paid at 1.25 times the hourly rate for hours beyond 8 per day.

As per the Ministry of Labour, foreign plumbers need a valid Qatari work visa sponsored by the employer, medical fitness certificate from a Qatar-approved center, and police clearance certificate issued within the last 6 months. The visa processing fee is 300 QAR and must be applied for within 60 days of entry on a visit visa.
