Job Description
About The Role:

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as a Driver who will be responsible for transport and delivering stocks and staff to and from various QDF locations. When required they need to assist storekeepers in unloading goods from containers, arranging the stock picking locations and in doing timely stock delivery to various shop locations. It involves continuous physical movements. Workload also shall include any other jobs required for the warehouse operations as indicated by warehouse officer and supervisors on a time-to-time basis.

Operations:
• Safe and legal operation of the commercial motor vehicle, ensuring company assets is well protected and personal safety guidelines are always followed and all the necessary documentation regarding vehicle operation in airport environment is available.
• Timely delivery of stocks from warehouse to QDF locations and vice versa, including operate controls for loading and unloading of stocks.
• Stockpile the goods on the racks / pallet locations to maximise the utilisation of the available space. All goods must be handled with utmost care by ensuring no damage occurred
• Clean QDF Warehouse vehicles as scheduled and/or required, ensuring vehicles are safely and securely stored.
• Submit written incident reports on accidents involving drivers or company vehicles ensuring that all incidents are reported to the supervisors in a timely manner.
• Responsible for cleanliness of all the operational area and equipment in the warehouse.

Qualifications About you:
• Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills, English communication skills with Entry level roles – no prior job-related work experience
• Valid Qatari Light Vehicle driving License
• Ability to diplomatically interact with security and customs officials.
• Ability to schedule and prioritise workflow.
• Ability to work in a fast-passed environment Must be able to read and write English.
• Command of English language.
• Ability to lift / move / manoeuvre goods up to 1651bs.
• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock through the facility.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching during entire length of the shift.
• Ability to drive vehicles for long hours.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions in the Middle East environment

Preferred:
• Must Have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Valid Qatari Heavy Vehicle driving License
• Prior experience in similar working environment
• Knowledge of Arabic Language.
