Job Description
A Kitchen Equipment Technician Helper assists in installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and beverage equipment (ovens, freezers, dishwashers) . They perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and support technicians with tools and parts, ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently in compliance with sanitation regulations

Key Responsibilities
• Maintenance & Repair: Assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing kitchen appliances, including gas and electric steamers, fryers, grills, refrigerators, and dish machines
• Installation Support: Aid technicians in installing and commissioning new equipment, including piping, wiring, and calibration
• Technical Assistance: Handle, transport, and set up tools and heavy equipment during repairs
• Parts Management: Monitor, clean, and organize inventory of spare parts and components
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Documentation: Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities under supervisor direction

Requirements
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or gas-operated kitchen equipment
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
