Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard / Swimming & Lifeguard to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this dual role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility and its patrons, with a particular focus on aquatic areas.
• Monitor and patrol the facility, including pool areas, to maintain a safe environment
• Perform lifeguarding duties, including surveillance of swimming areas and rescue operations when necessary
• Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain order
• Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed
• Conduct regular safety checks of pool equipment and surrounding areas
• Assist in the implementation of emergency action plans
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and rescue operations
• Interact professionally with guests, addressing their concerns and providing information
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive facility security
• Adapt to various weather conditions, including working in a hot climate

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid lifeguard certification
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Security guard license or ability to obtain one
• Excellent swimming skills and physical fitness
• Proven experience in lifeguarding, security, or a combination of both preferred
• Strong knowledge of water safety and emergency response procedures
• Proficiency in surveillance techniques and security protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Capability to work effectively in hot climate conditions
