Job Description
Head Chef at a Fine Dining Restaurant in Salalah

We are hiring a skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high‑end fine dining restaurant in Salalah. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing kitchen staff. You should have excellent leadership skills and be able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities
• Create and oversee all menu items, ensuring they are prepared to the highest standard
• Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
• Develop new dishes that meet our customers' tastes and preferences
• Order ingredients and maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to meet budget targets
• Ensure all dishes are presented in an attractive manner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant
• In‑depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Creativity and innovation in menu planning and dish creation
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Food safety certification is preferred
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
