As per the Ministry of Labour, the minimum wage for Omani nationals employed in restaurant jobs is OMR 325 per month effective 1 January 2026. Non-Omani workers receive no statutory minimum but contracts must specify at least OMR 200 monthly plus accommodation. Overtime after 8 hours daily is paid at 1.25 times the basic hourly rate.
