Position Title: F&B Waiter / Waitress
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / F&B Manager
Location: Hotel (Local & Overseas Candidates Welcome)

Job Summary

The F&B Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in all food and beverage outlets of the hotel. This role ensures that dining areas operate smoothly, guests are served efficiently and courteously, and service standards are consistently upheld. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, attentive to guest needs, and committed to maintaining a warm and welcoming dining experience. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service
• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and offer recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages professionally, following hotel standards and sequence of service.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints politely and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain excellent personal grooming and a positive, service‑oriented attitude.

Operational Duties
• Set up, clear, and reset tables efficiently.
• Prepare mise-en-place for service (cutlery, glassware, condiments, table setup).
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, side stations, and service equipment.
• Support smooth service flow between kitchen and dining area.
• Process bills accurately and handle payments using the POS system.

Teamwork & Communication
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and kitchen staff.
• Attend briefings, trainings, and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Support team members during busy operations or special events.

Compliance & Safety
• Follow hotel SOPs, hygiene standards, and food safety practices.
• Handle equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
• Comply with hotel policies, grooming standards, and code of conduct.
• Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Previous experience in F&B service or hospitality is an advantage (but not mandatory).
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Customer‑focused, reliable, and well‑presented.
• Willing to relocate for overseas candidates (visa and accommodation provided by employer).
