Job Description: Restaurant Cleaner

Job Purpose:

To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant premises (dining area, glass surfaces, and restrooms) to ensure a comfortable and sanitary environment for customers and uphold the restaurant’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Dining Area Maintenance:
• Clean and sanitize customer tables immediately after departure.
• Clear food remains, debris, and used tableware from tables and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Sweep and mop floors regularly to ensure they are free of dust, spills, or stains.
• Glass and Surface Cleaning:
• Clean and polish glass windows, mirrors, and doors periodically to ensure they are spotless and smudge-free.
• Restroom Sanitation:
• Clean and disinfect restrooms frequently throughout the shift.
• Replenish supplies (paper towels, soap, air fresheners) and ensure they are always available.
• Waste Management:
• Empty trash bins in the dining area and restrooms and dispose of waste in designated areas following health protocols.
• General Organization:
• Realign chairs and tables to ensure the dining area looks organized and welcoming for guests.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Languages: Proficient in speaking Arabic or English (for basic communication with staff and customers).
• Personal Skills:
• Physical fitness and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Polite and professional demeanor when working around customers.
• Strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Experience: Previous experience in restaurant or hotel cleaning is preferred.
