Job Description
We’re currently hiring an Assistant Manager – Packaging Innovation to join a dynamic and growing food manufacturing business in the region.

If you have a strong background in packaging development for food or beverage products, this could be a great opportunity to step into a role where you’ll directly influence product quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
• Lead the development of packaging solutions for new and existing food products
• Evaluate and select packaging materials (flexible, rigid, etc.)
• Conduct testing related to shelf life, durability, and product compatibility
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, QA, and Marketing
• Identify opportunities to optimize packaging cost and improve efficiency
• Support sustainability initiatives through innovative packaging approaches

Requirements
What we’re looking for:
• 8+ years of experience in packaging development within FMCG or food manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with packaging materials, testing, and validation
• Strong understanding of food safety and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to work closely with factory operations and product teams
• Experience in cost reduction and packaging optimization is a strong advantage
