Job Description
Job Purpose

Drive a variety of Company-based light and heavy duty vehicles in field and other Company locations to transport, load and off-load various items of equipment, machinery, components and pipes as required, in line with the company and road safety policy and procedures

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

β€’ Operate buses, heavy trucks, loaders and any other heavy equipment. Load or assist in loading trucks or any other vehicles with materials to be transported to various Company locations.
β€’ Follow hand signals and verbal instruction in loading and positioning of materials and ensure that load is safely secured and balanced before vehicle embarks on journey.
β€’ Drive employee buses as required to transport passengers to and from various locations and ensure the safety and security of the passengers and the proper care and operation of the vehicle.
β€’ Inspect vehicles to ensure that they are kept in good operating condition. Observe schedule maintenance requirements and take vehicles to workshop for servicing at required intervals. Report any vehicle damage or malfunction to supervisor.
β€’ Drive and maintain the vehicle in a professional, conscientious and safe manner obeying the local road traffic laws.
β€’ Observe safety regulations concerning vehicles and specific plant conditions. Obtain work permits to enter prohibited areas.
β€’ Keep the vehicle clean inside and outside at all times and that company’s stickers are visible.
β€’ Carry out other similar or related duties as assigned, including reporting accidents concerning himself or his vehicles to his Supervisor and prepare necessary written reports concerning such incidents, ensuring that registration and insurance papers are kept valid at all time, etc.

β€’ Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures and functional processes.

β€’ Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
β€’ Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.
Housekeeping
β€’ Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
Reports
β€’ Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
β€’ Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.

Minimum Qualification

Completion of Primary Education.
