Job Description
Knot Bakehouse is currently looking for an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our café and bakehouse branch in Al Ain.

We are seeking a strong hospitality professional with experience managing coffee shops, artisan bakeries, pastry concepts, or modern café environments. The ideal candidate should have a passion for guest experience, team leadership, and maintaining operational excellence within a fast-paced food and beverage setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall daily operations of the café, bakery, and front-of-house team
• Lead, motivate, and train service staff to ensure high hospitality standards
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, pastry, and barista teams for smooth daily operations
• Monitor manpower planning, scheduling, productivity, and staff performance
• Ensure exceptional customer service and professionally handle guest concerns
• Maintain quality standards across food presentation, beverages, pastries, and service execution
• Oversee inventory management, stock ordering, and wastage control
• Monitor sales performance and support business growth initiatives
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and municipality regulations
• Maintain operational consistency and company service standards
• Support management with reporting, operational improvements, and team development

Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in managing cafés, bakehouses, bakeries, coffee shops, or casual dining concepts
• Strong experience handling high-volume operations
• Background in specialty coffee, pastries, desserts, or brunch-focused concepts is highly preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent operational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in inventory management, cost control, and daily reporting is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills is a must
• UAE experience is preferred
• Candidates currently based in the UAE will be highly preferred

Preferred Background:

Candidates with experience from specialty coffee brands, artisan bakeries, dessert cafés, or trendy lifestyle dining concepts will be highly considered.
