Job Description
Mira Construction L.L.C is seeking a qualified and experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and supervision of plumbing systems in various construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and review plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sewage disposal systems. Prepare detailed shop drawings, plans, and specifications for plumbing systems. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP engineers to ensure integration of plumbing systems. Conduct site inspections to ensure plumbing installations conform to design specifications and quality standards. Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations (such as Dubai Municipality standards), and best industry practices. Resolve technical issues and provide solutions during the construction phase. Collaborate with contractors and suppliers regarding materials and equipment. Prepare reports and technical documentation related to plumbing systems. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience specifically in plumbing design and engineering in construction projects in UAE. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, NFPA). Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for plumbing design. Experience with plumbing calculation software and hydraulic modeling is preferred. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Good communication and coordination skills.
