The Packer Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure efficient and timely packaging of products.Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure proper functioning and efficient packaging of products- Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent breakdowns- Monitor packaging supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed- Record production data and maintain accurate records of inventory and packaging materials- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area- Communicate with team members and other departments to ensure timely production and delivery of products- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with packaging equipment or process- Train new employees on packaging procedures and equipment operation- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all timesQualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent- Prior experience operating packaging equipment in a manufacturing or production environment- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills- Good communication and teamwork skills- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of timeWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within the company.
