Head Chef – Arabic Cuisine & Kitchen Operations

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are looking for a highly experienced and professional Head Chef with strong expertise in Arabic and Gulf cuisine to lead our kitchen operations in Dubai.

The ideal candidate must have a solid culinary background along with strong operational and leadership skills, including food costing, inventory control, staff management, training, strategic kitchen planning, and HACCP compliance.

This position is suitable for candidates who can maintain authentic Arabic flavors while efficiently managing a high-standard kitchen environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Operations
• Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Prepare and supervise authentic Arabic and Gulf cuisine
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
• Develop and standardize recipes and menu items

Costing & Inventory Management
• Monitor food costing and kitchen expenses
• Control wastage and improve kitchen profitability
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and supplier coordination
• Conduct regular stock audits and ordering processes

Staff Management & Training
• Supervise, schedule, and manage kitchen staff performance
• Train and mentor chefs and kitchen team members
• Maintain discipline and professional kitchen standards
• Support continuous staff development and operational improvement

Strategic Planning
• Implement kitchen operational strategies to improve efficiency
• Plan staffing, production flow, and kitchen organization
• Support menu engineering and business growth initiatives

HACCP & Food Safety
• Ensure full HACCP compliance and food safety standards
• Maintain hygiene procedures according to UAE regulations
• Monitor cleanliness and safe food handling practices

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Head Chef specializing in Arabic cuisine
• Strong knowledge of Gulf and Middle Eastern culinary traditions
• Previous GCC restaurant experience is highly preferred
