Job Description
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in carpentry, preferably in modular portacabin or prefabricated construction.
• Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in carpentry and modular finishing work.
• Strong knowledge of cement board installation, wood finishing, and modular assembly techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and worksite regulations.
• Supervise and coordinate daily carpentry and portacabin finishing activities.
• Lead a team of carpenters and laborers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
• Execute carpentry work on modular portacabins, including timber, plywood, and cement board installation.
• Review drawings, plans, and technical specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects.
• Inspect and maintain quality of work, ensuring compliance with company standards and project requirements.
• Manage materials, tools, and resources effectively for smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients for progress updates and issue resolution.
• Train and mentor junior carpenters and team members on best practices and techniques.
