Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond serving food and beverages to our guests. As a Commis Waiter/Waitress, you will support the service team in delivering a smooth and welcoming dining experience. Your role includes preparing the restaurant for service, assisting with taking and delivering orders, clearing and resetting tables, and coordinating with the kitchen and service staff.

You will help maintain high service standards, ensure guest comfort, and contribute to the overall success of daily operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
• Maintain a positive and energetic presence to enhance the guest experience.
• Prepare all mise‑en‑place correctly before service begins.
• Assist in serving food and beverages promptly while showing genuine hospitality.
• Maintain basic product knowledge of the menu and beverages offered.
• Ensure the restaurant setup, cleanliness, and equipment arrangement meet resort standards.
• Help create a clean, organized, and professional working environment.
• Support senior team members by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
• Always present yourself professionally.
• Stay informed about daily resort updates and events relevant to service.
• Report any breakages or equipment issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Attend team briefings, meetings, and required training sessions.
• Communicate effectively and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
• Show professionalism, courtesy, and teamwork in all interactions.
• Support energy and water conservation practices.
• Maintain excellent personal hygiene and follow hygiene standards in all work areas.

A suitable candidate should have 6 months to 1 year of experience in a quality hotel, resort, or restaurant environment. Basic food and beverage knowledge is required, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the team. The candidate should have strong personal presentation, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage politely with a diverse range of guests. Being a supportive team player, maintaining high service standards, and demonstrating a positive attitude are essential.

Good communication in English is required, and knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.
