Job Description
Job Duties:

Operate a concrete mixer truck to transport ready-mix concrete from the plant to the construction site, ensuring timely delivery.
Inspect the mixer truck before and after each trip, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition to maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
Clean the mixer drum and chutes after each delivery to prevent concrete from hardening and to maintain the equipment s condition and efficiency.
Communicate with dispatch and construction site managers to confirm delivery details, adjust schedules as necessary, and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
Maneuver and position the mixer truck at the construction site to facilitate the direct pouring of concrete or to fill concrete pumps or buckets, ensuring minimal disruption to the site.
Adjust the speed of the drum rotation to mix the concrete en route to the site or to prevent separation of ingredients, ensuring the delivery of quality product.
Complete delivery tickets and other required documentation accurately and timely, recording details such as quantity delivered, delivery location, and time of delivery.
Perform minor maintenance tasks on the mixer truck, such as lubricating parts or replacing small components, to ensure the vehicle remains operational and reduces downtime.
