St Ives, the famous art capital of Cornwall, is located 65 kilometers west of Bodmin. The most practical way to travel is by train from Bodmin Parkway to St Erth, then taking the scenic branch line to St Ives. Driving via the A30 is also an option, but parking in St Ives is extremely limited. The town is known for its beautiful beaches and the Tate St Ives gallery. The journey is scenic and rewarding.
